An electronic opera set in our immediate future, based on the lifelong ambitions of scientist Ray Kurzweil, and the embrace of the “Singularity” principle between computational power and the multiverse. The 2 main players, MONSTERFRAU and Crystal Distortion, enact featured scenarios from the story to promote the corporation involved in making the possibility to live mind, body and soul in a digitized reality situated in the global computing cloud, into a reality.

Set to a fully immersive visual live performance, the music is uncultured yet elegant, brash yet subtle, frantic yet entrancing, and unlike anything of its kind today.

MONSTERFRAU legt seit mehreren Jahren den Fokus auf Körper und Bewegung als choreographisches Musikinstrument. Die Entwicklung ihres analogen Soundkostüms mit zahlreichen Fadern und Drehreglern am Körper wurde 2013 beim donaufestival ausgezeichnet. 2014 folgte die Entwicklung eines digitalen Kostüms, das mittels Sensoren am Körper das Spiel von Softwareinstrumenten durch Bewegungen ermöglicht.

CRYSTAL DISTORTION ist seit mehr als 20 Jahren in der Technoszene bekannt. Er ist Teil des Soundsystems SP23, ehemals Spiral Tribe, das in den 90er Jahren den Free Tekno in ganz Europa verbreitete. Neben seiner Tätigkeit als Live-Musiker der elektronischen Musik, Produzent und DJ arbeitet er als Entwickler und Programmierer für u.a. SampleMagic, Ableton, Propellerhead und Arturia.
